Welcome to the Jensen's Hyde Creek Ranch!
Hyde Creek Ranch is the home for Weed Goats 2000, and Stan and Bonnie Jensen. The ranch is located 7 miles south of Salmon, Idaho in the beautiful Lemhi Valley. The high Bitterroot mountains to the north and the Salmon River to the west, this valley is rich with lush pastures and native grasses.

Weed Goats 2000 was a product of the Jensen’s incorporating goats into their cattle operation. The idea was for the goats to help produce an additional income for their ranching operation through the meat goat market. Stan was a fourth generation cow / calf producer until he and his wife Bonnie decided to diversify in the fall of 2000.The Spanish / Boer cross goats did so well clearing their ranch of weeds and brush and improving their pastures, the idea blossomed and the business grew. Weed Goats 2000 was established and soon became the primary livestock operation on their ranch by the year 2002. Stan has taken over the marketing and other management details while Bonnie manages the on-site project herding and performs the other ranching operation duties. Both have thrown themselves whole heartedly into their goat operation.
